The Date Palm and Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory at the university continues its efforts to support scientific research and agricultural development by focusing on the propagation and preservation of date palms and other valuable plant species using advanced tissue culture techniques.
The laboratory aims to enhance agricultural productivity, preserve genetic diversity, and develop sustainable methods for producing high-quality seedlings resistant to environmental stress and diseases. It also provides training and research opportunities for students and researchers interested in modern biotechnology and plant science innovation.
