The university has announced the introduction of new transportation facilities to make commuting easier and more sustainable for students and staff. Among these initiatives is the launch of the “Taxi Share” application, which allows users to share rides conveniently and safely, reducing both transportation costs and carbon emissions.
This step aligns with the university’s commitment to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 13 (Climate Action). The initiative reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to promote eco-friendly mobility, reduce traffic congestion, and enhance accessibility for all members of the academic community.
